Sudbury CARES Teen

Thursday, March 256:00—6:30 PMOnlineGoodnow Library21 Concord Rd, Sudbury, MA, 01776

For March, we will watch and discuss the TEDtalk "What it takes to be racially literate" by Priya Vulchi and Winona Guo. This can be viewed in advance here.

The Goodnow Library, together with others in the community, believes that promoting the seeking of knowledge and information leads to understanding and empathy. As a result we are launching a new community wide series called Sudbury CARES (Community Alliance for Race Education Series).

This group was formed to create a space for everyone in our community to discuss and learn about racism, causes of systemic racism, and what can be done to counteract it.

Our goal is to learn and explore together, in a safe space where all voices are heard and listened to with respect.

Registration for this event has now closed.
