Kids in grades 4 & 5 are invited to join our fourth children's program in the Sudbury CARES series: the Goodnow Kids Book Discussion of Amina's Voice by Hena Khan. Amina's Voice is the story of a Pakistani-American Muslim girl who struggles to stay true to her family’s vibrant culture while simultaneously blending in at school after tragedy strikes her community.
Copies of Amina's Voice are available at the Goodnow Library. Call 978-440-5540 to reserve a copy for contactless pickup. The audiobook is also available for free download through Hoopla.
Sudbury CARES (Community Anti-Racism Education Series) is a community-wide initiative formed to create a space for everyone in our community to discuss and learn about racism, causes of systemic racism, and what can be done to counteract it.
