Join us for a Sudbury CARES film discussion!  For the month of November, we will be discussing the film Moonlight. 

Released in
2016, the coming-of-age drama was the winner of three Academy Awards (Best Picture,  Best Supporting Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay).  The film is based on Tarell Alvin McCraney's unpublished semi-autobiographical play In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue, and it examines the conflicts  the main character encounters while trying to find balance between who he is and who he is expected to be.

The film is available for free streaming on Kanopy.
