Kids, do you want to learn how to make games and animated stories? Grab your parent and come learn the basics of coding.

Join Ashley Solen and her son Alexander as they create simple games and animated stories using Scratch (mit.edu.scratch). In this class children in grades 1 through 5 will work with a parent to explore the Scratch programming language and learn the basics of computer programming.

No experience necessary!

This program runs for 4 sessions: May 5, 12, 19, and June 2. You only need to register once.

Ashley began teaching over a decade ago and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science as well as a Master’s degree in Education. Alexander is curious and enthusiastic!
