Needle Felted Art Workshop

Lyn Slade will offer a hands-on needle felted art workshop Sunday March 24 1:30-5:00 in the Community Room. Up to 20 teens and adults are welcome to pre register for this afternoon of creative learning. Needle felting is a fast, fun and forgiving medium. There aren’t even any special stitches to learn.
During the workshop you’ll learn the basics of needle felting while making a beautiful sunset over the water. You’ll borrow the instructor’s multiple needle tool to use during the workshop, which helps move the work along so that most everyone will complete their art during the afternoon. You’ll go home with a kit of the basic supplies and materials so IF you don’t complete it, you will be able to at home. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of needle felters, from novice to experienced.
This program is supported by a grant from the Sudbury Cultural Council, a local agency that is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
