Sofya Reznik will be teaching Intermediate Programming with Python, the perfect class for participants who have completed Beginning Programming with Python or have familiarity with the prerequisite concepts* listed below. Sofya is a professional computer programmer with many years of experience.
This class will meet every Thursday afternoon (for 6 weeks: 1/9-2/13) in the NOWlab to learn coding techniques using Python.
 

Open to middle-school and high-school aged students.

Registration is required. Spaces are limited, so please sign-up only if you can attend every week.

*In order to take this course, please be familiar with:

- Basic Python syntax

- Variables, value assignment, input and output

- If, else-if conditional statements

- 'While' and 'for' iteration loops

- Simple arrays and lists

- Concept of functions and simple function definitions
