Composting for the home owner will dive into the basics of composting and why it is important. Lifetime master gardener Barbara McIntosh will answer questions like: What household waste can we compost? What are the benefits of composting? What type of composting is best for me?

Barb McIntosh is a registered nurse by profession and has been the coordinator of the prison program for MMGA for 10 years. She has worked in 5 prisons and now teaches veterans the practice of horticulture. She is presently class assistant for a new master gardener class.
