Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code Clubs are FREE programs for 6th to 12th grade girls to explore coding in a fun and friendly way!

This year, we're proud to announce that our club will be led by a coalition of women working professionally in the science, engineering, and tech fields.

Tech jobs are among the fastest growing in the country, yet girls are being left behind. While interest in computer science ebbs over time, the biggest drop off happens between the ages of 13-17. Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology.

We'll meet every Thursday evening (for about 30 weeks) at the library to make friends and learn how to code. Please sign-up only if you can attend every week.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Goodnow Library.
