Goodnow Girls Who Code Club.

Tech jobs are among the fastest growing in the country, yet girls are being left behind. While interest in computer science ebbs over time, the biggest drop off happens between the ages of 13-17. Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology.

Girls Who Code Clubs are FREE programs for 7th to 12th grade girls to explore coding in a fun and friendly way!

We'll meet every Thursday evening (for about 30 weeks) at the library to make friends and learn how to code.

Please sign-up only if you can attend every week.

This year, we will require a short essay from applicants telling us why she wants to join the Goodnow Girls Who Code Club. You will receive instructions about the essay shortly after you register.

Registration begins on September 4 at 9am and continues until September 25. Registration has been extended until the end of October. Spaces are limited.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Goodnow Library.

Please visit https://girlswhocode.com/about-us/ for more information.

Registration for this event has now closed.
