Join us for a presentation on "Explore the White Mountains" on Thursday, August 4, at 7PM!

Do you enjoy hiking and want to explore the beautiful White Mountains? Judith Watson and Keith Watling, two hiking leaders from the Boston Chapter of the AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club), will share their knowledge and hiking experiences associated with the White Mountains. They will also talk about AMC Huts. You may not know that the AMC owns and operates several mountains cabins and huts that are available for lodging throughout the summer. Judith and Keith will share trips that you can take and hike from hut to hut!

The mission of the Appalachian Mountain Club is to foster the protection, enjoyment, and understanding of the outdoors. It envisions a world where our natural resources are healthy, loved, and always protected, and where the outdoors occupies a place of central importance in every person’s life. Of the AMC’s 12 chapters, Boston is the largest with over 20,000 members.
