Join us for a virtual presentation on Dragonflies, Damselflies and Spreadwings on July 8 at 7:00pm.  Joy Marzolf, founder of The Joys of Nature, will examine the wide array of dragonflies, damselflies and spreadwings!  What is the difference between a dragonfly and damselfly?  What are they doing in our yards?  How do you tell males from females?  Enjoy beautiful images of these insects and learn more about these amazing flyers and how their presence in our neighborhoods can benefit all of us!

Joy has always loved animals since she was a child growing up in New England!  She has over 20 years of experience in providing animal-related education programs.  One of her favorite things to do is break people's misconceptions about many animals, especially those that people fear, such as predators including sharks, reptiles and spiders.  Joy was a Naturalist and Educator at Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary for over 13 years.  She was also a trip leader and naturalist on canoe trips in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  In the last few years, she has been a Naturalist Trip leader for marine related trips for the Oceanic Society.

This is a virtual event.  Registrants will receive an email with a Zoom link on the day of the program.
