Friends,

On a frigid Saturday in January, we all enjoyed a variety of warm soups, some with a kick, and multiple versions of a cool, crisp soup as well.  And of course, wonderful conversation. 

In February, we're getting together on Saturday, February 10, to share tastes of red!  Think sweet or savory.  Naturally red or created through cooking.  Valentine's Day? Chinese New Year?  George Washington's cherry tree for President's Day?  So many options!

And for those of you with a sweet tooth (or lovers of Mexican Mole), mark your calendars for Sunday, February 11, when The Friends of Goodnow present Tom Rogan of Goodnow Farms Chocolate.  He will be at the library from 3:00-5:00 pm for "Making Chocolate:  Sourcing from Bean to Bar."
