Kids ages 8-12 are invited to sign up for an ONLINE contemporary dance class offered by Lincoln-Sudbury graduate Rachel Marchica.  This fun 40-minute class will begin with a guided improvisation followed by a warm-up which will include modern technique exercises, stretching, and strengthening. The class will conclude with a contemporary combination set to music. This class is tailored to be completed in a small space. No specific shoes are necessary, class can be done barefoot or in socks. 

This class will be offered online using Zoom. Registration is required for access to the Zoom meeting. 

About Rachel Marchica: Born in Sudbury, MA, Rachel began dancing at age three and hasn’t stopped since. She is currently a third year BFA in dance student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where her training is focused in ballet, modern, contemporary, and improvisational practices. She is passionate about sharing dance with all ages and is looking forward to providing a space for movement, creativity, and self expression.
