Bookies Book Group

Tuesday, December 57:00—8:45 PMStory & Craft Room, Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Rd, Sudbury, MA, 01776

The Bookies met to discuss The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers and John Housden’s How Rembrandt Reveals Your Beautiful, Imperfect Self.  The Bookies found each book exceptional.  While acknowledging human imperfections, they offered much in the way of heart and beauty.

Our next title for discussion is a short novel, Einstein's Dreams, by Alan Lightman. Published in 1995, this unique tale provides entertaining and provocative propositions on time and space. Einstein, himself, appears in the story. Relatively speaking, the Bookies hope to make this a 'dream' selection. Take the time and space to come to the discussion table on Tuesday, December 5th, at 7 pm in the Story & Craft Room on the first floor of the Library.  Copies of the book may be picked up at the Circulation desk.
