“Play/ Toy” Painting Project was inspired by a gift of stuffed animals from a Sudbury Senior to the Sudbury Friday Watercolor painters to be used as painting subjects. This led to adults being teamed up with local children to paint paintings of play things. The children chose meaningful toys for inspiration for their acrylic on canvas paintings and the adults chose from the toys (previously selected by the children) for their watercolor paintings.

This project has culminated in a show of 23 pairs of “Play/Toy “paintings that can be viewed in the Meeting Room at the Goodnow Library from April 13-April 30. An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, April 23 from 6-7 pm.
