Presentation at 3 pm

Join DovBer (Barry) Marchette, prolific artist and teacher of 20th century Art History, as he speaks about the creative process as it developed through the Modern Art movements, and about his own work. There will be a special focus on the profound changes in the approach to Art that began with the early movements of Modernism.

Over 30 years ago, DovBer was a resident and Director of Cultural Affairs of the town of Sudbury, and has 2 large outdoor sculptures in town that can be seen today. In this return to Sudbury, he will be showing a large selection of paintings on paper, canvas and wood at the Goodnow library throughout the month of May.

Due to his recent disability, for this presentation he will be assisted by Lauren Basler (Executive Director of the Brighton Senior Center).
