Join us on Wednesday, 11/15/2023, at 7PM for a VIRTUAL presentation of "Ancient Stone Mysteries of New England"!

Did you know some of the stonework found in the woods and forests of New England might pre-date its assumed construction by European colonists and later settlers and may instead be ancient, Indigenous work? If you’ve come across mysterious stonework and want to know more, or have found you don’t know as much as you once thought you did about the ancient stonework of New England, join Mike Luoma as he shares his discovery of how and why this could be ancient Indigenous Stonework.

Mike relates his journey through his first two years of exploration of possibly sacred stone sites throughout New England, giving his impressions as well as sharing research and knowledge gained in efforts to understand sites' meanings and histories. Mike’s descriptions, photographs and illustrations of stonework around New England demonstrate these ideas in a relatable way, providing folks new to the concept of Ceremonial Stonework in Northeastern North America an entrance into this fascinating lost history now being rediscovered. In his Ancient Stone Mysteries of New England – Discovering the Ancient World All Around Us, chronicling Mike’s first two years of stonework investigations, you learn along with Mike about Ceremonial Stone Landscapes, Stone Prayers, and other possibly Indigenous stonework, and he shares some of what he's learned in this presentation.
