Join us on Monday, May 13, at 6:30PM for an IN-PERSON presentation on "The Importance of Bees"!
Join local beekeeper and Auburn resident, John Hedly, one of over 1,000 members of the Worcester County Beekeepers Association, a leader in beekeeping education for over 100 years, as he discusses interesting and important topics relating to bees and our environment.
John will present on the following topics:
- Starting a beehive
- Collecting honey
- The Physical structure of a hive
- Bee chores in and out of a hive
- The bee colony and its organization
- The importance of pollination
